The Experience Salesforce's Messaging and Solutions Marketing org shapes how the world understands Salesforce across our core products and company narrative - and this role is the business operations engine behind it.

You'll work directly with the Sr. Director of Messaging Strategy & Operations as a trusted partner, owning the org's budget, headcount plan, and the financial scenario modeling behind every organizational decision. This is a hybrid role with three days in office each week.

What You'll Actually Be Doing Own headcount planning end to end - serving as the single source of truth for every position, backfill, geo/level change, and transfer modeled against budget targets, in close partnership with Central Planning, Finance, and Employee Success Lead budget planning and financial operations, including spend tracking across programs, headcount, contractors, and T&E; requarterizations; incremental funding requests; and quarterly Spend Health Reviews for the EVP Build and run scenario models under pressure - when reduction targets or funding requests land, you develop options quickly and strategically, surfacing risks before they reach senior leadership Drive the org's planning rhythm, including the V2MOM process, annual and quarterly planning checkpoints, action tracking, and leadership forum prep - while experimenting with AI tools to automate reporting and synthesis workflows You're Our Person If...

You have 5+ years in business operations, FP&A, strategy & operations, or headcount/workforce planning, with a track record of hands-on operational delivery You're genuinely fluent in Excel and Google Sheets - you've built and maintained budget and headcount models, handled reductions, and can walk someone through a live model You've run full budget planning cycles: tracking spend, modeling cuts, and working alongside central or functional planners to hit targets You communicate clearly at the executive level and build structure in ambiguous environments without waiting to be told what to do Even Better If...

You have a background in FP&A, consulting with hands-on delivery, or marketing operations at scale You've supported workforce actions - reductions, increases, reorgs - with the judgment and discretion they require You have hands-on curiosity about AI tools; experience with Claude or Claude Code is a plus You're comfortable navigating senior stakeholders in a matrixed org and see operating across levels as an opportunity Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.

The typical base salary range for this position is $117,400 - $177,600 annually. 

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
