Your Team, Your Impact Marvell has a strong Sales and Marketing team who accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales plans and managing staff aligned with the corporate strategy for mutual success of the company and customers What You Can Expect As a sales leader, you will manage strategic Service Provider / Carrier account relationships and business in the Americas.
Responsibilities will cover multiple product lines, focusing on Networking, Compute & Optical Products. You must have a solid track record in sales managing complex accounts ( key accounts including Comcast, Charter, Verizon, Lumen, AT&T, and similar carriers).
You will be responsible for delivering success against sales targets, generating new business opportunities, and growing relationships and revenue at assigned accounts. You should be results-oriented, driven by excellence, and capable of promoting success through collaboration with sales, product development, engineering, marketing, legal, finance and supply chain.
You should have the capacity to develop a comprehensive understanding of Service Provider challenges for your account and distill this understanding into straightforward Marvell solutions that make a clear difference to the customer’s business.
Your responsibilities will include: Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1/Tier 2 North American carrier accounts, driving design wins across Marvell's switching, compute, connectivity, and Optical product lines Develop and execute account strategies that align Marvell's product roadmap with customer network evolution plans (access, edge, core, and cloud) Identify, qualify, and close new design-in opportunities across CPE, access, aggregation, routing, and data center infrastructure programs Build and maintain deep relationships with customer engineering, architecture, procurement, and executive stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally with Marvell's BU, FAE, marketing, and operations teams to ensure customer success from design-in through production ramp Develop accurate revenue forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans; maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce Represent Marvell at industry events, customer briefings, and executive engagements Monitor competitive landscape and provide market intelligence to inform product and go-to-market strategy Market Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and provide valuable insights to the organization.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both Marvell and its customers. Customer advocacy: Deliver product feedback to business units to ensure the voice of the customer is recognized. What We're Looking For 10+ years of semiconductor or networking technology sales experience, with a strong track record selling into North American Tier 1/Tier 2 carriers Established relationships at accounts such as Comcast, Charter, Verizon, AT&T, Lumen, or similar service providers Deep understanding of carrier network architecture — access (DOCSIS, PON, DSL), aggregation, edge routing, and data center infrastructure Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from engineering design-in to procurement award Strong technical acumen; ability to engage credibly with hardware architects, systems engineers, and C-level executives Experience selling semiconductor SoCs, ZR Optics, Switch, PHYs, or networking silicon preferred Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a matrixed, fast-paced environment Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills which exhibit strong communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in Marvell's fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA a plus Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 187,460 - 277,470, $ per annum The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
