We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our team. This is a FIFO role out of Cairns, Darwin or Brisbane on an 8/6 roster. In this role, you will partner with operational leaders and site stakeholders to support environmental compliance, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will provide technical environmental expertise while helping implement environmental management systems, supporting monitoring and reporting activities, and ensuring our operations continue to meet legislative and company requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional who enjoys working across both operational and project-based activities and is passionate about delivering positive environmental outcomes.

What you'll be doing Partnering with operational teams to support environmental risk management and compliance. Implementing and supporting environmental management systems, standards and procedures. Conducting environmental inspections, audits and monitoring activities.

Investigating incidents and supporting corrective and preventative actions. Collecting, analysing and reporting environmental performance data. Providing environmental advice, training and coaching to employees and contractors. Supporting regulatory compliance and statutory reporting requirements.

Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive environmental performance improvements. What you'll bring Qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline. Knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance requirements and environmental management systems.

Experience supporting environmental monitoring, auditing, risk management or compliance programs. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to analyse information, solve problems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
