All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Talent & Comp (TACO), located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role leads the delivery and continuous improvement of talent management and compensation programs within Human Resources, Global Services.

The Manager, Talent & Comp (TACO) partners with HR leaders and business stakeholders from the Global Talent Management and Total Rewards space to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, scalable, and aligned to DePuy Synthes’ business priorities.

This role has a direct impact on workforce effectiveness, pay equity, talent outcomes, and employee experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver core compensation and talent programs, including annual cycles, job architecture support, market pricing, and pay governance.

Partner with HR Business Partners and Global Services teams to provide consultative guidance on compensation, talent reviews, and workforce planning. Ensure compliance with global and local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements related to pay and talent processes.

Analyze compensation and talent data to generate insights, identify trends, and support data ‑ driven decision ‑ making . Support the design and execution of process improvements and standardization across Global Services. Collaborate with cross ‑ functional partners (HR Operations, Finance, Legal, and Technology) to ensure seamless program delivery.

Contribute to change initiatives, including system updates, program enhancements, and organizational transitions. Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

Preferred

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Experience and Skills Required: 6–8 years of progressive experience in compensation, talent management, or HR programs, including manager ‑ level accountability.
  • Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, job architecture
  • pay governance, with the ability to operationalize these through standardized, compliant
  • scalable HR processes Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a matrixed, global environment

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Global Services or shared services models.
  • Exposure to HR systems and reporting tools (e.g., job architecture, compensation planning platforms).
  • Change management or process improvement experience.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across functions.
  • Other: Language: English proficiency required ; additional regional language skills are a plus.
  • Travel: Limited domestic or international travel may be required (up to ~10%).
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCP, GRP, or equivalent HR/Compensation certifications.

  • Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
