Check us out on LinkedIn: Medtronic Neurovascular A day in the Life In this exciting role as a Senior Project Management Specialist, you will support the Neurovascular Project Management Organization (PMO) by driving portfolio execution, governance, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of product development and lifecycle management initiatives.

You will partner with project leaders, functional stakeholders, and business leaders to provide visibility into project health, financial performance, resource utilization, risks, and key milestones through standardized reporting, portfolio reviews, and operational mechanisms.

This role is critical to enabling informed decision-making, improving portfolio management processes, and ensuring the successful execution of projects that deliver innovative neurovascular therapies to patients around the world Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Support the Neurovascular Project Management Organization (PMO) by coordinating portfolio governance, operational mechanisms, and portfolio review processes.

Partner with project leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to collect, consolidate, and communicate project status, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall portfolio health. Maintain portfolio management tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to provide accurate, timely visibility into project performance and portfolio execution.

Prepare recurring portfolio reports, executive summaries, presentations, and business updates to support leadership decision-making and stakeholder communication. Coordinate portfolio review meetings by gathering inputs, facilitating discussions, documenting key decisions, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up.

Develop and maintain standardized portfolio metrics, reporting processes, and operational mechanisms to monitor project progress, resource utilization, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Collaborate with project managers, functional leaders, finance partners, and other stakeholders to ensure project data, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and forecasts remain accurate and aligned.

Support portfolio risk, issue, and dependency management by tracking project-level concerns and escalating portfolio-level risks when appropriate. Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management practices through process optimization, automation, digital tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain portfolio documentation, governance records, and project artifacts in accordance with organizational standards and quality requirements. Communicate portfolio priorities, execution status, operational metrics, financial performance, and key business insights to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Lead or support cross-functional teams from concept through execution for new product development, product lifecycle management, and operational initiatives while ensuring alignment to business objectives, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.

Must Have (Minimum Requirements): To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume. Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technical field with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering or Technical field with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 0 years of relevant experience Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications): Experience supporting PMO, portfolio management, or project coordination function.

Background in medical devices or another regulated industry. Experience with sustaining engineering, released product management, or new product development. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools. Experience creating dashboards, reports, and standardized project templates.

Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process efficiencies. Self-motivated, proactive, and interested in growing into project or program leaders For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$118,400.00 - $177,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.

The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
