Manager - Resiliency Testing Suite
This TM03 Cloud Engineering Manager will manage and develop the Resiliency Architecture and Testing department's Test Orchestration engineering team, providing leadership for enterprise testing enablement. This role is responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for test orchestration capabilities, ensuring scalable, intelligent frameworks that support performance, resiliency, and quality engineering across multiple products and platforms.
Driving Intelligent, Autonomous Testing at Scale This role is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing delivery team while also operating as a product owner, shaping the strategy and evolution of enterprise test orchestration capabilities.
As a Cloud Engineering Manager, you will lead the Test Orchestration (TOrch) team, which builds and operates the systems that enable coordinated, end-to-end test execution across complex environments. This team's portfolio currently includes Performance Testing as a Service (PTaaS) for load testing, the Climate of Chaos for fault injection, Mimic for service virtualization, and a Scaler Service for production-parity test environments.
You will partner closely with application, platform, and testing teams to simplify how testing is planned, executed, and analyzed through reusable orchestration patterns and modern tooling. A core focus of this role is accelerating validation of system resiliency to keep pace with the rapidly evolving, AI-driven product delivery lifecycle.
This includes expanding the testing ecosystem to support emerging use cases, and enabling agents as users of our testing platforms, progressing toward a future where resiliency validation can be executed autonomously through agentic processes based on clearly defined requirements.
The emphasis is on delivering practical, scalable solutions that improve confidence in production systems while reducing manual effort and increasing speed of feedback. This position is well suited for an engineering leader who understands distributed systems and testing at scale, and who is excited to influence both product direction and technical execution.
Success in this role requires balancing strategic thinking with strong engineering discipline to build reliable, extensible orchestration capabilities that meet enterprise needs today while positioning the organization for the future. Balances business priorities, user needs, and technical considerations to deliver high-impact outcomes. Leads the design and evolution of orchestration frameworks and services that enable coordinated execution of complex test scenarios. Ensures solutions are scalable, reusable, observable, and built for enterprise-grade performance.
Partners with product, architecture, and engineering leaders to integrate orchestration capabilities into delivery pipelines and platform services. Ensures alignment with enterprise standards and promotes seamless adoption across teams. Drives innovation in testing through the application of AI and automation, including enabling new interaction models such as agent-driven testing workflows and autonomous execution patterns.
Establishes and promotes standardized test execution patterns and best practices, improving consistency, reliability, and efficiency across teams and platforms. Identifies gaps and inefficiencies in testing workflows and drives improvements that reduce manual effort, increase execution reliability, and accelerate feedback loops.
Communicates clearly with stakeholders on product direction, roadmap, and outcomes. Builds alignment and drives adoption through strong engagement and partnership. Oversees client support/consultations and general operational product support.
