Sr. Specialist – GHER TMTT Real-World Evidence This role represents an opportunity to join the Global Health Economics & Reimbursement (GHER) team supporting patient access to innovative transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve technologies (TMTT) at Edwards Lifesciences.

As a Senior Specialist, Real-World Evidence , you will support the planning and execution of real-world evidence (RWE) generation projects using real-world data (RWD) to address patient unmet needs and market access questions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to generate data-driven insights that inform clinical, economic, and market access strategies.

This individual works in close partnership with internal teams, contributing analytical expertise and supporting study execution to advance enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in outcomes research, analytics, and data science, with a desire to grow technical and business acumen in a collaborative environment.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Real-World Evidence and is based at Edwards’ corporate headquarters in Irvine, California. How you will make an impact: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into data and analytics requests, supporting definition of scope and objectives Support the design and execution of observational studies, including assisting with endpoint definition and operationalization Contribute to the development and execution of statistical analysis plans for assigned studies under guidance Assist in the development and maintenance of data management plans across multiple relational databases Support programming activities, including preparing and managing datasets for research analyses Conduct descriptive and inferential analyses using real-world datasets; support advanced analyses as appropriate Partner with data management and statistical programming teams within TMTT and Corporate functions to ensure data readiness and quality Perform data mining and ad hoc analyses to generate insights that support business needs and decision-making Develop analyses, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders Provide analytical and visualization support for internal reports, conference materials, and publications Contribute to drafting results sections of study reports, abstracts, and manuscripts Stay current with advances in analytics, data science, and real-world evidence through literature review and ongoing professional development What you will need (required): Bachelor's Degree in a life science, health economics, health policy, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required Other: in MBA or MPH or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Preferred What else we look for (preferred): Experience working with real-world data and supporting observational or retrospective studies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work within defined project scope Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams Proficiency in SQL and R or Python Hands-on experience with data management, data cleaning, and data manipulation Working knowledge of applied statistical methods Familiarity with analyses using real-world data sources (e.g., claims, EMR, administrative data) Exposure to methods such as longitudinal data analysis, generalized linear models, survival analysis, or propensity score methods Experience preparing analyses, reports, or visualizations for internal stakeholders Exposure to publications, abstracts, or conference presentations Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Advanced degree (e.g., MPH, MSc) preferred Interest in the medical device industry and evidence generation to support market access and commercialization Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $108,000 - $153,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
