Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager Location: Solon, OH Why This Role Matters At our Solon manufacturing facility, safety is more than a compliance requirement—it is a core value. As the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you will lead the strategy, programs, and team responsible for protecting our employees, our community, and our business. This role serves as a key business partner to operations, helping drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a culture where safety is owned by everyone.

Your leadership will directly influence employee engagement, safety performance, environmental stewardship, and the long-term success of the facility. What You Will Do Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives for the Solon facility.

Develop and execute the site's EHS strategy, goals, and performance metrics aligned with business objectives. Monitor and analyze leading and lagging indicators to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and improve overall performance. Foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, hazard recognition, near-miss reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other functions to identify and mitigate workplace risks. Review new equipment, processes, and facility changes to ensure safety and environmental risks are addressed before implementation.

Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Serve as the facility owner for Process Safety Management (PSM), contractor safety, emergency preparedness, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance programs.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing EHS team while establishing clear expectations and accountability. Drive continuous improvement efforts that strengthen safety performance and business results.

What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of building and sustaining a strong safety culture while driving measurable improvements.

Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, incident investigations, and risk assessment methodologies. Experience managing Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop employees at all levels of the organization.

Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Strategic mindset with a strong focus on accountability, execution, and results.

Preferred Qualifications CSP, CIH, CHMM, or other relevant professional certifications. Experience leading EHS programs in a multi-shift manufacturing environment. Experience with behavior-based safety programs and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience supporting regulatory inspections, audits, and interactions with OSHA and environmental agencies.
