Lead Software Engineer - File Transfer

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the design and development of complex software features for File Transfer services Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines Design, code, test, debug
• document for projects and programs Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment
• technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team
• external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals Lead projects, teams
• serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, with strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies 3+ years of experience leading agile development of software features, including requirements, refinement, story creation, task delegation, collaboration
• automated testing Desired Qualifications: Hands-on experience with React frameworks, .NET, SQL, Node.js, Playwright
• programming languages such as C, C++
• C# Familiarity with Enterprise File Transfer solutions and related integration processes Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms such as Axway SecureTransport (AXST), IBM Sterling Connect:Direct (NDM)
• equivalent enterprise file transfer solutions Experience designing and supporting secure, high-volume file transfer systems handling sensitive data and external partner connectivity Knowledge of enterprise security, risk
• compliance requirements (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging) in highly regulated environments Experience with protocol mediation and integration patterns (e.g., SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, API-based file services) Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and managing integrations involving external platforms and services (e.g., Axway solutions, API management) Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams in delivering secure, scalable

• Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
