Uiux Designer
- UX Designer Description - This role is responsible for shaping the user experience of digital products, applications
- systems. The role requires a strong blend of design sensibility, technical expertise
- user empathy. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, engineers
- stakeholders, to create user-centered design solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives. The role conducts thorough user research to uncover insights, behaviors
- pain points, translating findings into actionable design solutions. Responsibilities
- Researches and designs user experience solutions for products and service lines based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines.
- Plans, validates, and implements research methods to test and gather user experience data; analyzes, evaluates, describes, and reports results and recommendations to design stakeholders.
- Develops user experience design plans, changes, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.
- Engages directly with partners and product teams to gain a deeper understanding of their goals, validates design solutions.
- Works with engineering team to understand the feasibility of designs, proposing smart alternatives along the way and crafting detailed design specifications.
- Leads a team of other designers and internal and outsourced design and development partners to develop holistic, high-quality user experience solutions for moderate to complex projects, products, and services.
- Ensures that branding and illustrations are implemented correctly inside of products, presentations, and other experiences.
- Represents the user experience design team for all phases of larger and more-complex development and design projects and programs.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members. Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in design principles, human factors engineering, social sciences research
- a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience. Preferred Certifications
