Position Summary The Sourcing Operations Analyst, Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver value, cost savings, and risk mitigation across assigned categories. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to lead competitive sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier selection and contracting decisions aligned to business objectives.
The Sourcing Specialist serves as a trusted advisor, leveraging market insights and supplier expertise to optimize procurement outcomes
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including development of materials, supplier engagement
- cross-functional evaluation processes Analyze supplier proposals and market data to drive fact-based sourcing decisions and value optimization Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels
- contracts to deliver cost savings and favorable business outcomes Partner with legal and risk teams to support contract drafting, redlining
- governance requirements Collaborate with internal stakeholders (business, finance, IT, legal) to translate requirements into sourcing strategies and aligned outcomes Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights on supplier capabilities, market trends
- sourcing approaches Facilitate cross-functional alignment throughout sourcing initiatives, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements
