We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President to lead end-to-end software sourcing across our Business Applications software portfolio, anchor Dallas as a scaled GSS hub and deliver disciplined commercial outcomes across a high-value, business-critical portfolio.

What you'll do in the role: - Serve as the Dallas GSS site lead, providing local leadership, operating discipline and execution oversight for GSS staff. - Oversee a complex portfolio of approximately $.4B in Annual Contract Value, with management responsibility for five Director-level full-time employees in multiple time zones. - Lead full lifecycle category strategy and execution across our Business Applications software sourcing portfolio, including renewals, new demand, demand management, and supplier rationalization. - Drive material commercial outcomes through large-scale software negotiations, consumption model optimization, vendor consolidation and disciplined supplier segmentation. - Provide governance for high-risk and business-critical technology suppliers supporting revenue generation, client servicing, trading and core operational processes. - Partner with senior technology stakeholders, product owners and finance teams on platform consolidation, resiliency, artificial intelligence enablement and Firm-wide technology transformation priorities.

What you'll bring to the role: - Significant experience in software sourcing, procurement, vendor management, category strategy and complex technology negotiations. - Demonstrated ability to manage a broad supplier landscape and translate business, technology and financial priorities into executable sourcing strategies. - Strong executive stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with senior technology, product, operations and finance leaders. - Commercial judgment and governance discipline to manage high-risk suppliers, large renewals, business-critical platforms and sensitive negotiation escalations. - People leadership experience, including the ability to manage, coach and drive execution through experienced Director-level sourcing professionals. - Ability to bring structure to a high-volume portfolio, reduce cycle times, sustain savings delivery and support platform consolidation and resiliency priorities. - Bachelor's degree WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.

However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
