Job Description

We’re looking for a Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for Home Office, Store and Distribution Services Associates across the business. In this role, you'll manage a variety of payroll activities, including adjustments, manual payments, and responses to payroll inquiries.

What You’ll Do

  • This position calculates, adjusts, audits, and processes daily data required for payroll, including ad hoc or manual payments, in a timely and accurate manner for Home Office, Store and Distribution Services Associates.
  • Conducts full cycle administration of hourly and salary national payrolls including hires, terminations, and rate changes.
  • Responds to inquiries from Associates and People Leaders to resolve discrepancies for issues related to pay.
  • Ensures compliance with provincial and federal legislation, internal policies and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements.
  • About You: A minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting payroll administration.
  • A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) professional designation; in progress designations may be taken into consideration.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion; able to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgement and discretion, as well as cooperatively within a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrated administrative excellence; able to multi-task, highly organized, accurate and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to manage large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience utilizing UKG Pro Payroll and Workday is an asset.
  • Additional Information: Candidates aged 18 and over will be required to undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
