- Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Partner Development Manager to drive AWS Marketplace adoption across our Australia and New Zealand Public Sector partner community. As a Partner Development Manager within AWS WWPS ANZ, you will help partners transact more of their business through AWS Marketplace, unlock the co-sell benefits and funding available through AWS Partner Network programs
- equip AWS teams and partners to have effective Marketplace conversations with public sector customers. This is a partner-facing role. You will build relationships directly with partner executives and their operational leads, coach them through eligibility and compliance work
- represent their perspective back into AWS. You will work closely with our Partner Managers, AWS’s global Partner Programs, ISV Accelerate
- Marketplace teams to remove blockers, unlock partner eligibility
- equip AWS sellers with the tools they need. The ideal candidate has a background in partner programs, channel operations
- partner business development in technology or cloud markets. This role operates at breadth across many partners rather than depth on a small book of accounts, so you are comfortable managing many partners, deals
- program requirements in parallel while keeping precise attention to detail on compliance and eligibility work. You are comfortable diagnosing root causes of operational and commercial issues, deciding remediation paths independently
- influencing across teams to unblock progress. You bring analytical and operational rigour to program measurement and a bias toward operational excellence. Key job responsibilities - Drive AWS Marketplace adoption across the Australian and New Zealand Public Sector partner base. Prioritise partners by revenue impact, help them list their solutions on Marketplace, meet the required compliance
- start transacting through AWS Marketplace. - Keep ANZ Public Sector partners enrolled in and eligible for the AWS Partner Network programs that unlock co-sell benefits and funding, including ISV Accelerate, Foundational Technical Review
- Partner Revenue Measurement. Spot partners at risk of losing eligibility, diagnose the cause
- fix it before it hits revenue. - Enable AWS teams and partners to have Marketplace conversations with ANZ public sector customers. Build ANZ-specific enablement content and the customer-facing materials the sales teams use directly with public sector customers. - Work with AWS’s global Partner Programs, ISV Accelerate
- Marketplace teams. Bring ANZ Public Sector priorities into their roadmap and timeline decisions. - Measure Marketplace adoption across the ANZ Public Sector partner base and report progress, risks

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management
- sourcing new business experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools - Experience working with partners through account, product or program management and business development engagements - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect
- a similar cloud certification
