Solutions Architect
  • AWS Global Strategic Partners (GSP) Sales drives adoption of the AWS services worldwide by selling into the world's largest consulting partners. These partners are our customers — they use AWS for their own internal operations and to design, build, and deliver solutions for their end customers. Our team empowers them to grow their AWS footprint and delivery capabilities through tailored service, unmatched technology, and hands-on architecture guidance. We dive deep into understanding each partner's unique challenges and go-to-market strategy, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success. Join us and help us grow. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who thrives on rolling up their sleeves and performing hands-on technical work as part of their coverage responsibilities. When you determine that rolling up your sleeves and performing technical work directly in a partner’s non-production environment is the fastest path to accelerating an outcome or winning an opportunity, you have the permission and operational processes to do exactly that. You will build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, AI agents, data pipelines, and integrations in real time. The work may take any shape: a prototype that unblocks a migration, an AI Agent that transforms a core business process, a security control implementation, tweaks to a CICD pipeline, a data pipeline to land new assets in a data lake, integration with a new AWS feature, or a proof-of-concept for agentic AI using Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore. You will architect agentic systems, implement GenAI design patterns, and create solutions that demonstrate the power of AWS. You are equally comfortable with whiteboarding system design with a CTO and pair-programming with a delivery team. The decision to perform hands-on technical activity is made flexibly on the ground when you identify an opportunity within your existing bandwidth. You will lead by doing, creating reusable frameworks that scale across partner practices and establishing design patterns their teams can replicate. This role requires building deep technical relationships with partner leadership and working across international boundaries. Key job responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy solutions on AWS alongside partner engineering teams — from proof-of-concept through customer delivery, with a focus on agentic AI applications and GenAI design patterns - Architect agentic systems using Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge — establishing reusable patterns for multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and autonomous workflows - Work embedded within partner teams — pair-program, conduct code reviews, debug distributed systems, and iterate rapidly to deliver solutions that meet end-customer requirements - Create reusable assets — reference implementations, starter kits, deployment templates (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform), and documentation that partner delivery teams can scale across engagements - Own the technical relationship with large consulting partner customers — serve as the trusted hands-on advisor as they grow their AWS practice - Drive adoption through building — demonstrate what's possible by delivering working software and turning proof-of-concepts into reusable patterns that drive long-term AWS adoption - Contribute thought leadership — author AWS blogs, whitepapers, and open-source projects
