About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant In this role, you will: Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: experience in Reporting, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Management.
Strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel , and related BI technologies. Working knowledge of Python and PowerApps ; exposure to Data Science, AI, and Automation is preferred. Proven experience designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data modelling, data quality, and enterprise reporting architectures. Hands-on experience with databases such as Teradata and SQL Server . Experience integrating, transforming, and analysing structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.
Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations. Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and consulting skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Knowledge of banking domains such as Risk, Operations, Marketing, or Supply Chain is an advantage. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and innovation. Job Expectations: Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into analytics and reporting solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards, reports, and BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau. Define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that support business decision-making. Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis using SQL and other analytical tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Gather and document user requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs. Integrate and cleanse data from multiple sources to enable accurate and consistent reporting. Develop and enhance reporting architectures, data models, and operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
Present insights, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Lead analytical engagements from requirements gathering through implementation while ensuring stakeholder transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver high-quality analytics solutions within agreed timelines and exceed stakeholder expectations. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, innovation, and adoption of AI-enabled analytics capabilities. Mentor team members, promote best practices, and contribute to building a data-driven culture across the organisation.
