We are seeking a highly motivated Production Support Engineer to provide 24/7 application and system support for critical business operations, ensuring high availability and performance of production environments. The role involves monitoring applications, troubleshooting incidents, managing service requests, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with production support processes (incident, problem, and change management), and familiarity with relevant technologies in our stack. Prior experience in handling high-priority incidents, working with monitoring tools, and supporting applications in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The candidate must demonstrate ownership, effective communication skills, and a proactive mindset, and should be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, to support global operations. Roles & Responsibilities Work closely with other members as part of a distributed agile (SAFe) team of developers, analysts, QA, and more.

Work with technical leadership to understand and resolve issues in production environment. Document the fixes that have been put in place. Demonstrate skill in support processes. Awareness of dev-ops processes to deploy code artifacts on to the designated platform/servers.

Troubleshoot issues, providing effective solutions and job monitoring as required. Participate in daily scrums, demos and debugging calls. Quality-focused with eye for detail. Required Experience & Education 3 - 5 years of relevant production support and project experience.

Strong experience in writing complex and effective SQL in Oracle. Advanced PL/SQL which includes partitions, performance tuning, local & global indexing, Dynamic SQL, exception handling and bulk data handling. Experienced in writing complex SQL in Postgres, MongoDB and DynamoDB.

Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with query optimization and performance tuning. Document-centric data architecture (XML DB/NoSQL/JSON). Experience in Agile and working knowledge on DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory).

Experience with Relational Database Development – Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or equivalent required. Basic Cloud Experience (AWS). ETL concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

Experience in Jira and Confluence. Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python. Health care domain knowledge is a plus.
