The Robotics Trade Supply Chain Controls (RTSCC) team is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Program Manager who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys tackling large-scale, complex challenges in a fast-paced, startup-like setting. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of global trade regulation, supply chain operations
- robotics innovation. As a single threaded leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global strategy for product classification (HTS, ECCN) across Amazon Robotics' expanding product portfolio. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute the global product classification strategy for HTS and ECCN across all Amazon Robotics product lines, from concept through General Availability (GA). - Own critical compliance gates throughout the Product Development Process (PDP): initial ECCN/HTS assessment, full BOM classification, export readiness validation

- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 6+ years’ experience commensurate with extensive knowledge of handling imports and/or exports in accordance with foreign government regulations - 6+ years’ experience commensurate with extensive knowledge of handling imports and/or exports in accordance with foreign government regulations - Deep expertise in HTS classification and ECCN determination for complex manufactured goods (hardware, electronics, robotics, or similar)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent - Ability to apply trade knowledge to business flows
