- Are you passionate about understanding consumer behavior and transforming insights into strategic impact? We’re looking for a Consumer Insights Manager to join our team and bring the voice of the traveler into marketing at trivago.
- In this role, you'll manage key research initiatives that shape our marketing strategy, guide brand development
- uncover growth opportunities through a deep understanding of traveler motivations and market dynamics. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams as well as business developers and data analysts
- lead relationships with research partners to drive insight excellence and brand growth across trivago.
- How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead research projects end-to-end, ensuring they’re aligned with brand and business strategy and executed on high-quality standards
- Translate research into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across brand, marketing, and product
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define research objectives and integrate findings into campaigns and brand strategy
- Guide the design and execution of both quantitative and qualitative studies, and proactively recommend the best methodologies
- Manage agency relationships and act as the quality gatekeeper for research that is conducted
- Contribute to building a shared learning culture by maintaining and sharing key insights and historical learnings
- What you'll need to thrive:
- 3-4 years of experience in consumer and/or market research, ideally in a brand, media, or digital environment
- Solid understanding of research methodologies and the ability to select the right approach to answer business questions
- Experience managing external research agencies and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking paired with strategic perspective
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
- Confidence working independently and prioritizing projects based on business impact
- A growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and natural curiosity about consumer behaviour
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
