  • operational excellence across the software lifecycle. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – DevSecOps to lead prioritisation and delivery within a DevSecOps enablement team. This role focuses on enabling engineering teams to deliver software faster, more securely
  • with greater reliability through platform capabilities, standardised pipelines
  • integrated security practices. Role Overview The Product Owner – DevSecOps is responsible for defining and prioritising the backlog for DevSecOps capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, security controls
  • developer enablement services. The role acts as the bridge between engineering, security, platform
  • business stakeholders, ensuring that DevSecOps investments deliver measurable improvements in delivery velocity, quality, security
  • compliance. Key Responsibilities
  • DevSecOps Backlog Ownership o Own and prioritise the DevSecOps backlog, aligning with platform strategy, security requirements
  • engineering needs. o Define and sequence features such as CI/CD pipelines, IaC capabilities, environment provisioning
  • Program Increment (PI) Planning & Delivery o Lead backlog refinement and planning activities for Program Increments, ensuring clear, prioritised
  • outcome-driven deliverables. o Ensure features deliver measurable improvements in automation, standardisation
  • developer experience.
  • Security & Compliance Integration o Drive the inclusion of security controls (e.g., scanning, secrets management, policy-as-code) into delivery pipelines. o Ensure alignment with enterprise compliance frameworks and audit requirements (e.g., ISO, governance standards).
  • Platform & Enablement Focus o Prioritise initiatives that enable self-service, reusable “golden paths,” and standardised DevSecOps patterns across teams. o Balance platform standardisation with product team flexibility and adoption.
  • Technical Alignment & Architecture Enablement o Collaborate with architects and technical leads to support architectural runway, including infrastructure modernisation, pipeline standardisation
  • reduction of technical debt. o Ensure adequate backlog allocation for platform capabilities and engineering enablement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication o Act as the primary interface between DevSecOps teams and stakeholders across engineering, security
  • leadership. o Provide clear visibility into priorities, progress, risks
  • Value Delivery & Continuous Improvement o Define success metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, security posture, incident reduction). o Continuously refine priorities based on feedback, adoption
  • performance data. Experience Required
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software delivery environments.
  • Experience working with DevOps or DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, cloud platforms, or infrastructure automation.
  • Proven experience working within Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience delivering platform or enablement capabilities (preferred). Skills Required
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, including automation, security integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Ability to translate technical platform capabilities into business value outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management across engineering, security, and leadership domains.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritise high-impact initiatives.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
