Role Overview Sr. Financial Analyst at McKesson Corporation plays a key role in providing financial and business insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive strategic initiatives within the MAPS (McKesson Automated Prescription Solutions) portfolio.
This role involves a blend of financial analysis, data interpretation, and business partnering. Key Responsibilities Perform complex financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and operational reviews.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop reporting solutions. Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analysis as requested, supporting strategic projects and initiatives. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis. Assist in the annual planning process and periodic forecasting updates.
Communicate financial performance and insights clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences. Minimum Requirement Degree and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience. Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Critical Skills 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related analytical role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC) is highly desirable. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Salary: 82,700.00 - 110,300.00 - 137,900.00 USD Annual with 5% MIP P3 This role is a hybrid position . The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week , with the remaining days worked remotely.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
