We Deliver – Together. Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS.

The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services.

The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability. The Opportunity: As a Configuration Management professional, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of configuration data and baselines across the ACS CLCM.

You will support the planning and execution of Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA), conduct configuration compliance activities, and provide Configuration Status Accounting services to stakeholders. You will ensure configuration information remains accurate, auditable, and aligned to established baselines and governance requirements.

The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, manages responses to external audits and corrective actions, and promotes professional development through ongoing skills growth and best-practice adoption. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of Garden Island, Sydney

Responsibilities

  • E xecute day to day acti v itie s in accordance with the Confi g uration Management & Audit Plan.
  • Liai s e clo s ely with th e E ngin e ering T eam, Ship Lead s and Waterfront E ngineer s r e s ponsible for the AC S CL C M to en s ure compliance to the C onfiguration Manage m ent & Audit Plan.
  • Independently apply Configuration Management techniqu es in the context of Sy s tem s Engineering on Navy Maritime A ss et s , make deci s i on s on Configuration change
  • repre s ent the team in C onfiguration Control Board s .
