Program Manager
  • Prime Video Commerce is the team that powers how hundreds of millions of customers buy, subscribe, and access content on Prime Video — across every country, every device, every payment method. Our Bengaluru site is home to the engineering and leadership teams that own offer vending, payments expansion, and architectural transformation for PV Commerce globally. We're looking for a Program Manager to run the operating rhythm of our organization. You'll be in every room that matters — taking notes, tracking actions, following up relentlessly, and ensuring the org's written artifacts (MBRs, newsletters, reviews) are sharp, current, and delivered on time. You'll own the systems that keep a 100+ person distributed engineering org running: SharePoint structure, wikis, intake mechanisms, OpEx budgets, attrition tracking, and goal management. This is a high-agency role. You won't wait to be asked — you'll see what's missing, build it, and drive accountability across leaders. You'll heavily leverage AI tools to automate repetitive work, synthesize information, and operate at a pace that would otherwise require a team. The core of the role is strategic operations: ensuring teams have the information, structure, and mechanisms to make decisions and move fast. You'll also handle logistics and coordination for leadership — but your real value is in the operating system you build around the org, not in any single task. Key job responsibilities **Strategic operations and org rhythm** - Be in key meetings — take notes, capture decisions, track actions, and follow up until closed. Nothing falls through. - Own MBR write-ups, newsletters, and leadership communications — drafting, editing, and ensuring they ship on schedule - Follow up on org-level actions across all leaders — you're the accountability mechanism for commitments made in reviews, 1:1s, and staff meetings - Own the org's information architecture: SharePoint sites, wikis, intake mechanisms, and knowledge repositories. Build structure where none exists. - Manage the OpEx budget — track spend, flag anomalies, partner with finance on forecasting - Maintain the attrition tracker, headcount plan, and hiring pipeline status — always current, always accessible to leadership - Provide offline goal summaries and pulls — leaders always have a current view of progress without asking - Manage mechanisms on metrics, artefact reviews, newsletters, OPRs and identify topics that need more attention or documentation that needs work. - Calendar and logistics coordination for the org leader - Pre-read preparation and materials assembly for senior leadership reviews - Use AI to handle the rote parts so your time goes to the higher-judgment work above **AI-first execution** - Heavily leverage AI tools (Claude/Kiro, internal agents, automation) to synthesize meeting notes, generate first drafts, track patterns across data sources. - Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows for recurring tasks: weekly digests, goal freshness checks, cost trend reports, action item tracking - Continuously identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions **Org level community and culture building** - Run the local community program for PV Commerce BLR: townhalls, team gatherings, social events. - Program manage content for townhall events — sourcing speakers, curating topics, managing logistics, and ensuring each event delivers value A day in the life You start the morning by running your AI-assisted digest: it's scanned last week's action items across three reviews and flagged two that are overdue with no update. You send direct follow-ups to the owners before the 10am staff meeting. In staff, you're taking notes — not transcribing, but capturing the three decisions made and four actions assigned. By the time the meeting ends, those are already in the tracker and owners have been pinged. Mid-morning, you're drafting next week's MBR narrative. You've pulled the data, written the first draft using AI, and are now working with the team to sharpen or explain the narrative. After lunch, you're in the metrics review taking notes. A leader asks about attrition in one team — you already have the numbers and share them in the chat before anyone needs to go look. Later, you're planning next month's townhall: you've identified speakers, drafted the invite, and coordinated AV. You close the day by sending the weekly ops newsletter to all of Commerce BLR: what shipped, what's coming, who joined, who's leaving, and one thing to celebrate.
