Test Development Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans for new products, including probe and final test strategies.
• Hardware Development: Design and qualify load boards, probe cards, and test interfaces (high-speed, high-density).
• Test Program Development: Write, debug, and optimize test programs using ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platforms.
• Yield Optimization: Analyze test data, identify yield limiters, and implement improvements to meet production targets.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Design, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and support NPI (New Product Introduction) ramps.
• Debugging: Perform bench-level validation and hardware bring-up to ensure electrical signal integrity and robust test execution

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or Masters degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related experience Experience with ATE platforms and high-speed digital/analog testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python).
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, probe card design, and PCB layout constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
