- OIS CXI Analytics team is looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Engineer with strong technical data evaluation-assessment background to join our team as BIE II. In this role, you will be accountable for designing and supporting best-in-class business data study solutions to help stakeholders make impactful business choices. You will own the design, development of data solutions to support OIS customer experience product suites. You will continue to raise the bar for creating scalable, efficient and automated processes for large-scale data evaluation. Position requires excellent statistical, data-study abilities with deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, data engineering and basic knowledge of Data Science. Successful candidate will be a self-starter , comfortable with ambiguity, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail. They are able to partner with customers to transform business problems into technical/BIE requirements and deliverables. Your cross functional collaboration inspires your peers and stakeholders to produce the best BIE/Analytics experience. Key job responsibilities - Partner with OIS CXI leaders and proactively define data evaluation and assessment needs to BI designs, use Agentic AI - Continuously review and update 'visualization standard' for simplified inspection experience - Design, develop, test solutions to ensure data management processes, visualization outputs are accurately representing the business insights - Develop best practice to reduce coding effort by reuse where applicable
- replace complex data handling steps with innovative design and simpler tools/utilities - Drive peers and stakeholders for optimal assessment solutions and insist on highest standards when dealing with data, business rationality usage - Work backwards from KPIs used for business selections and design inspection process to automate with simple solutions - Use AWS S3, Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, Tableau to produce reliable BIE solutions. - Enable seamless integration between BIE solutions and Strategic Planning, Excel models - Working knowledge of Regression , Classification algorithms A day in the life Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners. - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience - 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience - 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience - 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience - 3+ years of in the job offered or a related occupation experience - 1+ years of using SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Oracle experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
