Position Summary We are recruiting several positions throughout the Vials and Syringe business unit. Anyone who applies will be considered for any of the roles below - Vials Inspect & Packaging Operators Syringe Inspect, Assemble & Packaging Operators Enhanced Operators Vials Process Operators You will be joining a production team at the Barnard Castle Manufacturing site in the Steriles Packaging & Inspection or Grade C filling area.
You will work closely with colleagues across Production, Quality, Engineering, MSAT and Warehouse teams. We value reliable people who learn quickly, act with Integrity and Care, and want to grow their skills while helping us unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Complete Batch Documentation and Production Equipment Logs in an accurate and timely manner according to Procedures and GMP standards.
Set up and operate a range of semi-automatic and fully automatic Packaging, Assembly and Inspection machines to ensure efficient production, including performing Critical Device and Guard Check challenges. Work in a classified production area filling Terminally sterilised products.
Stage, retrieve and transfer components, containers and finished packs to support packaging lines. Inspect finished packs for quality, perform visual inspection, and record findings accurately. Prepare, check and reconcile batch documentation, labels and records to maintain traceability.
Report and escalate production, quality or stock discrepancies and work with the team to resolve issues with problem solving. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Experience working in a production packaging, inspection or filling environment. - Ability to read and follow written procedures and complete accurate records. - Good attention to detail when inspecting products and preparing documentation. - Comfortable working on-site in controlled environments. - Flexibility and Willingness to work shift patterns required to meet changing production schedules. - Team player with clear verbal communication and a willingness to learn and develop.
Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Experience in regulated manufacturing or healthcare production environments. - Practical experience with digital production systems such as SAP & EBRS - Experience handling temperature-controlled or cold-chain materials. - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles. - Experience contributing to continuous improvement activities and problem solving.
Working arrangement This position is on-site at our United Kingdom manufacturing facility. Shift work is required to meet production needs. Specific shift patterns and hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
