Learn more at semgrep.dev . About the role In this role you’ll work across the stack to design, build and maintain a fast and reliable user experience for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and product managers to develop flows that help AppSec professionals and developers alike to achieve their security goals, own the end-to-end implementation of features in our frontend and backend and scale these systems as we continue to grow rapidly this year.

What you’ll do Contribute to major software product initiatives end-to-end, user-research through design, implementation, and deployment. Assist with setting technical and software product direction. Work closely with the team to define the software product’s future, including strategic decisions on which features to develop and the technical approach for their implementation.

Architect and build elegant, maintainable, extensible software systems. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and security researchers to build the best software product possible. Learn from users to understand their needs, build products to help keep them secure, and work with them to help them scale their software security programs.

You are ideal for this role if you have Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. 2 years of experience in the following skillsets: 1) Software systems and customer-facing applications using modern programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript and TypeScript; 2) React, HTML, CSS and Node.js; 3) Backend system and API development including RESTful APIs, defining application architecture, and integrating third-party services and data providers; 4) Database design and data management including designing database schemas; 5) SQL queries.

Compensation Salary Range: $131,997 - $184,000 Our compensation package includes equity and benefits in addition to salary. Please note that the range listed is for someone based in the New York City area.
