About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Mid-Corporate Senior Financial Analyst in Commercial Banking to work in partnership with small deal teams that provide research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend credit and monitor borrowing relationships with clients whose annual revenues are generally $500MM and above.
Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. #commercialbanking In this role, you will: Assist with the underwriting and execution of financing transactions, including completion of due diligence, credit analysis, and drafting credit approval memorandums Analyze a wide range of detailed information including financial statements and projections, lender presentations, management presentations, and third-party reports Research complex financial and credit information for commercial businesses according to business unit standards Aid in the presentation of transaction to credit approvers and senior leaders in a clear and concise manner with well-reasoned support Participate in low to moderately complex Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management assignments Assist in the development and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives via specialized project work and/or assignments Integrate AI tools into underwriting and portfolio management workflows to streamline research, accelerate production, and drive innovation and efficiency.
Collaborate and consult with Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, internal stakeholders as well as internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals Required Qualifications, US: 2+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data Ability to perform in depth commercial financial statement analysis Knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets Underwriting experience Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to decision makers and other stakeholders in a professional and confident manner Experience with nCino A BS/BA degree or higher Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
