We’re looking for a Senior Global Product Manager to help shape the future of the Breathing Health portfolio through strategic portfolio leadership, new product development, and the identification of transformational growth opportunities. This is a highly cross-functional role that blends product strategy, technology scouting, opportunity evaluation, and innovation leadership.
You will help define where the business goes next — evaluating emerging technologies, identifying unmet needs, assessing build/buy/partner opportunities, and helping turn strategic concepts into scalable businesses. This is not a traditional sustaining PM role.
You’ll operate across horizons: Managing and evolving core portfolio strategy Driving new product and platform opportunities Evaluating adjacent markets and care models Exploring partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions Identifying technologies that could reshape breathing health over the next decade You’ll work across product management, engineering, clinical, corporate strategy, business development, finance, regulatory, and commercial teams globally to help guide strategic investment decisions and accelerate growth.

Your Mission Shape the future of the Breathing Health portfolio Help define portfolio strategy across core and adjacent breathing health markets Identify where Resmed should invest, expand, partner, or acquire Balance near-term business priorities with longer-term strategic bets Develop strategic frameworks to assess growth opportunities and portfolio gaps Manage the evaluation of new technologies from inception through to go-to-market Identify and evaluate emerging technologies Scout and assess new technologies, startups, and market trends relevant to breathing health Evaluate strategic fit, commercial potential, technical feasibility, and competitive impact Lead structured assessments of organic and inorganic growth opportunities Translate market signals into actionable recommendations for leadership Drive innovation and new product development Partner with cross-functional teams to shape future product concepts and platform opportunities Help define business cases, product requirements, commercialization pathways, and investment priorities Support early-stage concept development through validation and strategic planning Ensure new opportunities align with customer needs, clinical outcomes, and business strategy Act as a strategic integrator Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities Align stakeholders across product, engineering, commercial, clinical, regulatory, and corporate development teams Drive decision-making through data, insight, and strategic judgment Maintain momentum across multiple parallel initiatives What success looks like in the first 6 months You’ve developed a strong understanding of the Breathing Health portfolio, market dynamics, and strategic priorities A clear framework exists for evaluating and prioritizing emerging technology opportunities Several high-potential growth opportunities have been identified and advanced through strategic assessment Leadership has confidence in your ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations Cross-functional teams are aligned around key strategic priorities and investment areas Strategic portfolio discussions are moving faster with clearer decision-making and prioritization What will make you successful Strong strategic thinking and business acumen Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments Experience evaluating new technologies, markets, or business models Strong product management fundamentals combined with commercial instincts Ability to engage deeply with technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders Structured problem-solving and strong executive communication skills Comfort balancing analytical rigor with speed and imperfect information This will probably not be a fit if you Prefer highly defined roadmaps and stable execution environments Focus primarily on sustaining products rather than shaping future strategy Avoid ambiguity or complex cross-functional decision-making Prefer incremental optimization over transformational opportunities Struggle to make recommendations with incomplete information Why this role matters You will help shape the long-term direction of the Breathing Health business You will influence how Resmed evaluates and invests in future technologies and markets You will help identify the next wave of growth opportunities across products, partnerships, and care models Your work will directly influence portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, and the future of respiratory care globally Why j oin u s At Resmed , you’ll be part of a mission driven company focused on improving health and quality of life.

Employees receive Flexible Time Off (FTO), receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At Resmed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $181,000 - $226,000 USD.
