- Summary
- The Solutions Architect is Temporal’s primary customer-facing technical leader within the Enterprise team (East). In this role, you will work directly with prospects and customers, guiding teams through technical evaluation, architecture
- implementation considerations
- helping them successfully adopt and expand production usage of Temporal over time.
- You’ll partner closely with Account Executives to support both land and expand motions, owning key technical relationships and helping position Temporal against alternative technologies and architectural patterns.
- What You’ll Do
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal's supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.
- Strong grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Proven ability to guide customers through complex architectural decisions, including application patterns and platform design.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans across both new opportunities and expansion .
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and the application and infrastructure services commonly used in enterprise production environments.
- Experience serving as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, helping scope opportunities, identify technical risks, and navigate complex evaluations.
- What You’ll Bring
- Reside within the Eastern time zone (United States)
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.

- Ability to provide clear guidance on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
- Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, helping scope opportunities, identify technical risks, and navigate complex evaluations.
- Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000.
- This is the total compensation, including the base salary and variable role, with a 70/30 split.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.
- Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location
