- What you’ll do
- In this valued role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will provide administrative support to senior consulting professionals. Are you a customer service minded individual who feels a sense of accomplishment when you can solve a problem which has a successful result? Responsibilities include managing business calendars, coordinating deadlines, analyzing and handling sensitive information, booking domestic and international travel, expenses, time entries
- case documents. and playing a critical role in handling a blend of assignments.
- The Administrative Senior Professional is a full-time role located in NYC, New York, and reporting to the Administrative Team Lead. Paid relocation is not available for this position.
- Support business leaders at the executive level.
- Manage complex calendaring, prepare business travel itineraries, process expense and time reports for assigned executives.
- Anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, effectively handle calendar conflicts, and proactively manage schedule changes.
- Special projects supporting your clients which includes preparing presentation materials for internal and/or external meetings while working collaboratively with others to solicit information and deliver results.
- Handle sensitive and urgent information from clients, exercise judgment in responding to unique and urgent situations, as well as in managing and reporting outstanding requests.
- Strategically and effectively act as point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners.
- Balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance, urgency, political impacts, and other linkage. Assimilate unfamiliar issues rapidly, anticipate and resolve potential problems.
- Manage general follow-up and generating reminders to effectively meet deadlines and commitments.
- Plan and manage technical and logistical support services to ensure seamless execution of internal and external events.
- Create and edit correspondence, invoices, engagement letters, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Perform back-up support for other admin professionals and front desk reception.

- What you’ll bring
- High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree(s) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative assistance experience; professional services firm highly preferred.
- Proven ability to own and drive outcomes within a defined workstream, including setting priorities, managing execution, and delivering results.
- Ability to apply judgment and provide practical guidance to stakeholders.
- Ability to influence across teams, functions, and seniority levels, including partnering effectively with senior leaders.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience operating in time-sensitive, ambiguous environments, balancing competing priorities with sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Experience identifying and driving process, tool, or system improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, or scalability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and executive-ready messaging.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and professionalism, fostering productive working relationships
- Ability to maintain composure and an executive presence under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Ability to be discreet and handle confidential, sensitive information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable leveraging firm-approved AI tools and technology to support day-to-day work efficiencies, streamline tasks, and enhance productivity.
- Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; flexibility to work overtime and a willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
- Ability to travel 10%.

- The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $37/hr. - $47/hr. with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
