- As the Associate Director – MRE, you will oversee the maintenance and reliability of numerous buildings across your assigned business vertical. You will take a hands-on approach to leadership, effectively engaging, motivating

- Oversee MRE-related processes including maintenance of automation and manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, PIT equipment (forklifts), building, grounds, and overall upkeep of numerous buildings
- Motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of managers and technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within
- Provide project management and support as assigned for key strategic and building level projects
- Manage outside vendors and facilitate planned and unplanned repairs
- Ensure that maintenance regulations are followed
- Identify problems and brainstorm improvement strategies for the fulfillment centers
- Drive cross-departmental engagement and collaboration on new projects and retrofits

- 8+ years managing maintenance/operations and reliability within the Food/Beverage/Perishables/Distribution industry or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
- Effective leader and communicator for employees, direct reports, cross-functional teams, and executives
- High level of integrity and ethics with excellent follow-up and follow-through
- Interest in engaging directly with all levels of staff
- Well-versed in recent OSHA regulations and compliance
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
- Exposure to refrigeration systems
- Knowledgeable in GMP/LEAN and strong continuous improvement and project management skills
- Comfortable working in cold environments with some areas of facility at 40F
- Excitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or nights and travel approximately 50% of the time
