Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Controls Engineer to join our Data Center Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and reliability of critical data center infrastructure systems that power the world's largest cloud computing platform. Key job responsibilities - Operate and maintain critical data center infrastructure including electrical, mechanical
- control systems to ensure maximum uptime and availability - Perform root cause analysis on infrastructure failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence - Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all data center critical systems - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations
- construction teams to support capacity delivery and infrastructure improvements - Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency operating procedures (EOPs) for infrastructure systems - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency

- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Experience in commissioning
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development
- into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting
- creating construction drawings, specifications
