Role Summary The Product Strategy Senior Advisor – Content Platforms & Personalization is responsible for defining and advancing the enterprise strategy for content capabilities that power personalized customer experiences across digital and communication channels.

This role provides strategic counsel to senior leadership on significant content, personalization, and customer engagement initiatives, often requiring coordination across business, technology, operations, marketing, and digital organizations.

The advisor serves as a product-minded and strategic translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the development of product definitions, solution strategies, and implementation plans that optimize content management, personalization, and customer engagement capabilities.

This leader establishes and executes the vision for headless content management, dynamic content assembly, reusable content architecture, and omni-channel content delivery, enabling scalable inbound and outbound customer communications across web, mobile, email, SMS, push notifications, contact center experiences, and emerging channels.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Product Strategy & Portfolio Management · Provide counsel and strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding content, personalization, and customer engagement strategies. · Drive development of product definitions, capability roadmaps, and solution plans that optimize enterprise content and personalization investments. · Evaluate business opportunities and emerging technologies to define and evolve the content and personalization portfolio. · Analyze market trends, customer expectations, competitive landscapes, and digital experience innovations to identify opportunities for both parity and differentiation. · Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps that align business priorities, customer experience goals, and technology investments. · Establish strategies, operational objectives, and governance approaches for enterprise content and personalization capabilities.

Headless Content & Dynamic Experience Enablement · Lead the strategy and adoption of headless and composable content management capabilities across the enterprise. · Define scalable solutions for modular content creation, content reuse, metadata management, and dynamic content delivery. · Drive implementation of content-as-a-service capabilities that enable rapid deployment across channels and customer journeys. · Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure content platforms support enterprise scalability, flexibility, and personalization objectives. · Develop enterprise standards, best practices, and governance models for dynamic content management.

Personalization & Omni-Channel Engagement · Shape and deliver personalization capabilities that dynamically tailor content based on customer context, behaviors, preferences, business rules, and AI-driven insights. · Enable consistent content experiences across inbound and outbound customer touchpoints, including web, mobile applications, email, SMS, push notifications, customer portals, and service channels. · Define strategies that improve relevance, engagement, conversion, adoption, and customer satisfaction through personalized experiences. · Collaborate with product, digital, marketing, communications, data, analytics, and CX teams to operationalize personalization at scale.

AI, Innovation & Solution Development · Identify opportunities where AI, automation, and advanced analytics can improve content operations, content creation, governance, targeting, and customer engagement. · Develop innovative value propositions and feature strategies that enhance enterprise content and personalization capabilities. · Evaluate solution alternatives and recommend approaches balancing customer value, business outcomes, technical feasibility, and operational efficiency. · Lead complex initiatives through experimentation, piloting, measurement, and enterprise-scale adoption.

Cross-Functional & Influence · Lead highly visible, cross-functional strategic initiatives that span multiple business and technology organizations. · Influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority to drive alignment, commitment, and execution. · Interpret complex internal and external business challenges and recommend solutions and best practices. · Serve as a trusted advisor and recognized subject matter expert on content strategy, personalization, and digital experience capabilities. · May lead large-scale strategic programs, workstreams, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

Scope & Impact · Leads enterprise-level product strategy initiatives involving content management and dynamic content delivery. · Solves highly complex business and technology challenges using broad strategic perspective and deep subject matter expertise. · Focuses on thought leadership, capability development, and innovation across multiple disciplines. · Influences enterprise investment decisions, operating models, governance frameworks, and future-state content strategies. · Drives measurable business outcomes such as increased engagement, improved customer experience, content reuse, operational efficiency, speed-to-market improvements, and reduced content management complexity. · Recognized internally as a trusted advisor and "go-to" expert for the most complex content strategy, personalization, and digital experience initiatives.

Required Experience · 7+ years of experience in Product Strategy, Product Management, Content Management, Digital Experience, Marketing Technology, Customer Experience, Personalization, or related disciplines. · Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise product strategies and capability roadmaps. · Deep experience with content management platforms, including headless CMS, composable architectures, dynamic content delivery, and content operations. · Experience supporting omni-channel customer experiences and communications across both inbound and outbound engagement channels. · Proven ability to evaluate market opportunities, emerging technologies, customer needs, and business priorities to shape strategy and investment decisions. · Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing executive stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications · Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Sitecore, Optimizely, Acquia, or other headless/composable CMS platforms. · Experience with personalization platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), AI-driven decisioning platforms, and marketing technology ecosystems. · Experience implementing dynamic content solutions supporting enterprise personalization programs. · Understanding of AI-enabled content creation, content optimization, recommendation engines, and intelligent customer engagement capabilities. · Experience driving enterprise transformation initiatives involving content modernization, personalization, or digital experience evolution.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,300 - 200,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
