Job Description Role Summary: The TPEO COO Office is seeking a Senior Associate, Project Delivery & Operations to join a small, high‑impact operations team supporting Technology Platform Engineering & Operations (TPEO) and the broader GTS organization.

In this strategic support role, you will work closely with TPEO’s COO, CTO, and senior leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver key operational initiatives across TPEO. You will also support select enterprise‑wide GTS programs, helping ensure alignment, clarity, and effective execution.

This role partners closely with a Senior Associate, Technical Operations & Delivery to jointly own TPEO’s most critical operational processes, execution rhythms, and operational data. While the technical partner focuses on building and automating solutions, this role focuses on planning, coordination, communications, documentation, event support, and administrative enablement, ensuring initiatives are well‑organized, stakeholders are aligned, and outcomes are delivered effectively.

Success in this role requires strong organizational judgment, excellent communication skills, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to proactively engage stakeholders across multiple teams and organizations. The Senior Associate must develop a strong understanding of how operational gaps are identified, including leadership expectations and decision‑making approaches, in order to anticipate needs, surface misalignment early, and drive effective coordination and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning, Coordination & Delivery Partner with leadership and operational stakeholders to plan initiatives, clarify objectives, and define delivery approaches. Translate leadership intent into clear plans, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

Track progress across multiple workstreams, proactively surfacing risks, dependencies, or delays. Operational Coordination & Administrative Enablement Act as a central coordination point across teams to keep operational work moving forward.

Own administrative execution that enables delivery, including scheduling, follow‑ups, agenda preparation, action tracking, and consolidation of inputs. Anticipate operational needs and proactively address gaps to reduce friction for leadership and partners.

Stakeholder Communication & Engagement Communicate regularly with stakeholders across TPEO, GTS, and partner organizations to gather updates, clarify requirements, and drive alignment. Serve as a reliable point of contact for operational updates and coordination.

Build strong working relationships that enable efficient execution without reliance on escalation. Support planning and coordination of leadership meetings, forums, and offsites as needed, including logistics, materials, stakeholder communications, and follow‑up actions.

Briefing Materials & Executive Communications Create and maintain briefing memos, executive summaries, presentation materials, and status updates. Distill complex or multi‑source inputs into clear, concise, leadership‑ready communications. Ensure leadership is well‑prepared with the right context, materials, and insights ahead of meetings.

Ownership of Operational Data & Processes Partner with the Technical Operations & Delivery Senior Associate to jointly own critical operational data and tracking processes (e.g. OKRs, monthly reporting, financial and vendor data). Maintain and update operational trackers, templates, and documentation.

Ensure information is accurate, current, and consistently presented. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve planning, communication, tracking, and delivery processes. Introduce improvements that make execution easier and more efficient for leadership and teams.

Take ownership of operational improvements from idea through implementation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in operations, project/program management, business coordination, or a related role.

Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and drive work forward independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive‑ready materials. High proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

State Street internship experience strongly preferred Core Competencies: Delivery, Organization & Detail Strong planner with excellent follow‑through. Comfortable managing timelines, logistics, and multiple parallel efforts. Initiative & Ownership Proactively identifies what needs to be done and takes action.

Comfortable operating from objectives rather than detailed instructions. Takes responsibility for outcomes, not just coordination. Collaboration & Communication Thrives in a highly in collaborative team and interdependent partnership model.

Communicates clearly, consistently, and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. Able to translate complex or technical content into clear, accessible communications

The Technology Platform Engineering & Operations (TPEO) COO Office is a small, high-impact team within GTS that supports TPEO’s senior leadership (the CTO and COO) in running the business of technology. We operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning high-level objectives into actionable programs and processes.

Salary Range: $52,000 - $91,000 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.

If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
