- We are seeking an experienced Lab Engineer with a strong mechanical background to join our testing laboratory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various testing equipment, transducers, data acquisition systems
- mechanical assembly capabilities. Key job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test procedures for mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures and equipment
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test equipment and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability
- Participate in the assembly of material handling equipment
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes
- Experience interpreting, modifying
- developing mechanical and electrical drawings
- experience in the mechanical or controls field - Experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail
- effective communication abilities
- experience in technical support - Can show strong verbal and written communication skills -
- Proven experience working in a test laboratory environment -
- Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools -
- Experience with various transducers and data acquisition systems -
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- 3+ years of experience in a Lab engineering role -
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment -
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods -
- Familiarity with quality management systems -
- Experience with CAD software -
- Project management experience -
