Role Description The Senior Analyst, Membership Strategy & Operations plays a vital role in analyzing the overlap between clinic patients and financial membership.Oak Street Health’s value-based model ties financial performance to population health incentives, which makes this position essential in optimizing both business and patient care outcomes.
The Senior Analyst will work closely with other teams (Managed Care Operations, Clinic Operations, Finance, Population Health, etc.) to drive key initiatives that support appropriate financial membership attribution to Oak Street Health. In particular, this role will leverage data analytics and strategic partnerships to optimize membership initiatives.
Success for these initiatives will be measured through the percentage of engaged patients on value-based membership rosters. This role will consist of data analytics, cross-functional collaboration, small and large group training, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity for quick career progression.
Core Responsibilities Transform raw data into actionable insights Utilize SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerBI to extract and summarize data. Leverage reporting and analytics to answer questions that inform business strategy and operations.
Make recommendations to key stakeholders and provide tools or data needed to support strategic operations. Manage end-to-end reporting portfolio Be a subject matter expert in membership and engagement reporting. Lead the design, development and maintenance of routine reporting for assigned subject areas.
Create metrics and reports to monitor success and identify opportunities for improvement across initiatives to improve appropriate financial membership. Drive Stakeholder engagement Partner with Clinic Operations, Product, Finance, Managed Care Operations, Population Health, and Executive leadership to drive membership initiatives.
Translate open ended requests to proposed solutions. Tailor reporting and communication methods for different partner needs. Proactively navigate and communicate around changing or competing priorities. Other duties as assigned What are we looking for?
Minimum 2-4 years of experience High level of organization and detail orientation Experience collaborating on projects across multiple departments Proficient with Microsoft Excel or other standard analysis tools (SQL, PowerBI, etc.) Familiarity with Epic EHR Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability Ability to navigate leadership and operational complexities Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product Quick learner comfortable with ambiguity Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables Collaborative working style, able to work cross functionally Bachelor’s degree required US work authorization Someone who embodies being “Oaky” .

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
