The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active.

What You’ll Work On Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team through coaching, training, succession planning, and performance management.

Foster an engaging, inclusive, and accountable team culture focused on safety, collaboration, and results. Direct all preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Develop systems, processes, and tools that proactively identify and mitigate equipment failures.

Oversee maintenance activities across production and warehouse operations, ensuring timely and effective execution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, equipment performance, and asset utilization. Develop long-term asset care and reliability strategies for manufacturing equipment and critical site systems.

Manage site calibration programs in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Lead maintenance planning and execution for site shutdowns and major projects. Build strong partnerships with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and other site functions.

Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP, and company standards while maintaining a strong safety-first culture. Manage departmental budgets, control spending, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or another technical discipline. 8+ years of manufacturing experience supporting production operations. 5+ years of people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment reliability, asset management, and manufacturing operations. Experience leading maintenance activities across key engineering disciplines, including: Process Engineering Facilities & Utilities Instrumentation & Controls Manufacturing Equipment Systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in a food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, GMP, and other regulatory requirements. Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement programs. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
