Overview Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) organization is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft’s cloud business.
The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world’s largest online services.
As the Executive Business Administrator (EBA) supporting the CVP for the AMERS region within Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I), you will serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Office—driving operational excellence, enabling leadership effectiveness, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive support culture.
This role goes beyond traditional executive support. You will lead and set the tone for a team of Executive Assistants across the AMERS leadership team (LT), building a strong, collaborative, and high-trust culture that ensures seamless support for senior leaders.

Responsibilities Executive Office Leadership & Culture Lead and develop a team of Executive Assistants supporting the AMERS LT, creating a strong, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Set clear standards for excellence across the EA community; coach, mentor, and support growth and development. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability—ensuring coverage, continuity, and partnership across the LT. Lead with empathy and professionalism; create an environment where EAs and leaders feel supported and set up for success.
Strategic Executive Support & Calendar Leadership Provide proactive, strategic calendar management for the CVP, aligning time to top priorities and business outcomes. Anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and make high-quality decisions in real time.
Ensure alignment across the Executive Office, Chief of Staff, Business Managers, and LT to optimize leader effectiveness. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role. Leadership Team (LT) Enablement Partner closely with the Chief of Staff and LT to ensure seamless coordination, strong communication, and consistent execution.
Ensure the LT is well-supported with clear logistics, preparedness, and follow-through across meetings, travel, and priorities. Drive consistency and best practices across LT support, reducing friction and improving overall effectiveness. Rhythm of Business (ROB) & Operational Excellence Drive execution of the AMERS Rhythm of Business in partnership with the Chief of Staff and Business Management team.
Ensure meetings are purposeful, well-prepared, and aligned to business priorities. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce administrative burden across the org. Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication Build strong partnerships across executive offices, business managers, HR, finance, and central teams.
Act as a connector across organizations to drive alignment, share information, and unblock progress. Proactively communicate updates and ensure stakeholders are aligned on priorities and execution. Event & Offsite Leadership Lead planning and execution of high-impact leadership events (e.g., LT offsites, QBRs, town halls).
Design and execute workback plans, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong attendee experience. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless end-to-end execution. Resource & Operations Management Oversee executive office operations, including budgets, expenses, space planning, and vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with policies while optimizing resources to support the business. Support headcount planning and organizational initiatives as needed. Travel & Logistics Oversee complex, global travel planning for the CVP, ensuring efficient, well-coordinated itineraries.
Anticipate risks and proactively manage changes to minimize disruption. Qualifications Required Qualifications 5+ years Administrative, Executive Business Support in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP/CVP level or equivalent), including complex calendar management and executive operations Experience leading or mentoring Executive Assistants or business support teams.
Proven ability to build and sustain a positive, high-performing team culture. Proven partnership skills with executive leadership, business managers, and cross-functional teams. Experience supporting large, complex organizations with distributed leadership teams.
Experience managing budgets, events, and operational processes at scale. Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with strong prioritization and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to build trust and handle highly confidential information with discretion.

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $31.49 - $51.97 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $42.93 - $59.33 per hour.
