Software Engineering Senior Analyst - HIH - Evernorth

Software Engineering Senior Analyst Evernorth, a leading Health Services company, is looking for exceptional engineers/developers in our Data and Analytics organization. In this role, you will actively participate with your development team on initiatives that support Evernorth's strategic goals as well as subject matter experts to understand business logic you will be engineering.

As a software engineer, you will help develop an integrated architectural strategy to support next-generation capabilities on an enterprise-wide scale. You will work in an agile environment, delivering user-oriented products. The ideal candidate will work in a team environment that demands technical excellence, whose members are expected to hold each other accountable for the overall success of the end product.

Focus for this team is on the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems, but also with a mind to drive simplicity in refining and supporting of the solution by others Roles & Responsibilities Develop backend and frontend features for AI-powered applications Integrate applications with AI models and services Build and maintain web-based user interfaces Implement validation, error handling, and observability Collaborate with designers, product managers, and platform teams Support testing, deployment, and iteration of AI features Qualifications Required Experience & Education: 3–6 years of software engineering experience Experience with backend development Experience building modern web UIs Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based interfaces Experience working in cloud environments (preferably AWS) Required Skills: Python/Java, Cloud Experience (AWS) Preferred Skills, Experience & Education: Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven applications Familiarity with prompt-based or AI-assisted features Interest in learning and applying AI responsibly in software products Nice to Have: Experience with conversational or chat-based interfaces Exposure to workflow-driven or agent-style AI concepts Exposure to graph-based or relationship centric data Background in data platforms, analytics, or platform engineering About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
