Data Engineer The Opportunity: As a Data Engineer on our team, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, compliant, and scalable data ingestion (ETL) processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to ensure robust data pipelines across complex multi cloud ecosystems.

You Have: Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes for large-scale, cloud architectures Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and cloud-native ETL tools Experience supporting data integration for healthcare organizations Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including in regulated environments Ability to ensure auditability and operational manageability in all data flows Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering Nice If You Have: Experience with federally funded research data sources Experience with healthcare data standards and interoperability such as HL7 or FHIR Experience with automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools for ETL pipelines Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices Knowledge of solutioning in a multi-cloud environment Possession of strong communication and collaboration skills, to work across multidisciplinary teams Possession of excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Cloud platforms Certifications Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
