- Global Capital Plan Leadership
- Own and manage HelloFresh's global Supply Chain capital plan — spanning new production technologies, automation investments, capacity expansions, facility upgrades, and strategic cost-savings programs across all regions.
- Lead the annual and multi-year capital planning cycle: partner with regional engineering, Maintenance, Safety, AP, finance

- Strategize rigorous business cases and investment justifications for capital projects, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and securing executive approval.
- Establish and maintain a centralized capital portfolio view, providing real-time visibility into spend, schedule, risk, and benefit realization across all active and pipeline projects globally.
- Drive accountability for capital budget adherence, forecast accuracy, and post-investment benefit tracking across all regions and project teams.
- Regional Capital Investment Portfolio — North America, Europe & Australia/New Zealand
- Serve as the global owner of the multi-regional capital investment portfolio, maintaining a consolidated view of all active, approved

- Facilitate quarterly regional capital review sessions with senior stakeholders across NA, Europe, and ANZ, providing executive-level reporting on portfolio health, spend performance, schedule adherence, and risk posture.
- Identify cross-regional synergies and opportunities to leverage learnings, vendor relationships, and proven solutions across geographies — accelerating delivery timelines and reducing capital spend.
- Manage currency, regulatory, and logistical complexity inherent to multi-regional capital deployment, partnering with finance, legal, and procurement to navigate regional compliance and contracting requirements.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for capital project issues, scope changes, and risk events across all regions, driving timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key capital equipment vendors, contractors, and technology partners across NA, Europe, and ANZ — leveraging global scale to optimize commercial terms and delivery commitments.
- Engineering PMO Standards & Governance
- Define, own, and continuously improve the global engineering project management standards, frameworks, methodologies, and tools that govern how HelloFresh plans, executes, and delivers engineering projects worldwide.
- Establish a center of excellence within the PMO — developing playbooks, stage-gate processes, risk management protocols, and change control frameworks adopted across all regions.
- Drive standardization of project reporting, KPIs

- At a minimum, you have...
- BS in Industrial/mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline required; MS/MBA strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience owning or significantly contributing to a large-scale, multi-regional capital investment portfolio ($100M+) across geographically dispersed operations.
- Proven experience managing capital projects with cross-border complexity — including multi-currency environments, regional regulatory requirements, and international vendor and contractor management.
- Proven track record of building or significantly maturing a Project Management Office (PMO), including development of standards, governance frameworks, and engineering methodologies adopted across multiple regions.
- Deep experience with automated and semi-automated equipment implementation, capital project execution, and new production start-up environments.
- Experience with Labor Management Systems, WMS, etc, desired.
- Expert proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with enterprise PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Primavera, JIRA) strongly preferred.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred; Kaizen facilitation experience a plus.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel globally as required (up to 20–30%), including to North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand.
