The pay range is $98,000.00 - $176,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. About The Role

As a Senior Product Designer on Target’s Enterprise UX Team, you’ll help shape the future of supply chain operations through the digital applications used by warehouse leaders every day. Your work will support decision-making across receiving, inventory management, fulfillment, and shipping—helping leaders keep product moving efficiently through Target’s supply chain network and into the hands of guests.

You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, operations experts, and fellow designers to turn complex operational data into intuitive, actionable experiences. From Regional Distribution Centers and Flow Centers to Fulfillment and Upstream facilities, your designs will help leaders monitor performance, manage workloads, solve problems in real time, and improve the daily experience of the teams that power Target’s supply chain

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to UX strategy within your product team by applying strong craft expertise and helping shape design direction Pursue user centric outcomes by advocating for team member needs through research insights, design rationale
  • clear storytelling Collaborate with product, engineering, data science
  • other partners to support the design of high quality end to end experiences Create design deliverables appropriate to each phase of the process, including journey maps, wireframes, flows, visual/UI design
  • prototypes Partner with and support junior designers by sharing best practices, feedback
  • craft guidance Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research in partnership with researchers, contributing insights that guide team decisions Uphold a high standard of craft across accessibility, information architecture, interaction design
  • visual design Strengthen human centered design practices within your immediate team by modeling thoughtful decision making and clear problem framing Build strong relationships with partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding of guest and business goals About You: You’re an experienced product designer with 4+ years of relevant product design work Intermediate skills in UX and product design, as well as structuring and planning work
  • owning the design process Proficiency in product design and prototyping tools (i.e., Figma) Demonstrate strategic problem-solving, systems thinking
  • collaboration skills You lean into complex problems, challenge the status quo
  • seek to understand the ‘why’ behind human behavior and their mindsets Proven ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach You value outcomes and strive toward design that is welcoming, inspiring

  • improves business outcomes Exhibit a growth mindset This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs.
  • A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
