We’re looking for a visionary and technically grounded AI Transformation Leader to drive this change. About the Role As the AI Transformation Leader for Personal Health, you will define and lead the global AI strategy that enables Philips to deliver more personalized, predictive, and connected health experiences. Beyond strategy, you will play a critical technical leadership role in shaping and building the foundational AI and agentic architecture for Personal Health. You will drive both business transformation and technical enablement — establishing scalable AI platforms, reusable services, data foundations, and agentic AI capabilities that can be leveraged across the Personal Health portfolio. This role requires a leader who can bridge executive vision with deep technical understanding of modern AI ecosystems, including generative AI, agentic frameworks, machine learning operations, data platforms, orchestration layers, and enterprise AI architecture. You will build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary organization of AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and product leaders to accelerate AI adoption at scale across the business. What You’ll Do 1. Lead the AI Vision, Strategy and Technical Foundation for PH Set the global AI transformation agenda for Personal Health, aligned with Philips’ purpose and digital ambitions. Define the long-term AI architecture and foundational technology strategy required to scale AI and agentic capabilities across the Personal Health ecosystem. Establish reusable AI platforms, shared services, orchestration layers, governance models, and enterprise data capabilities that accelerate AI adoption across products and functions. Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases that drive innovation, efficiency, and consumer value. Translate strategic ambition into a clear, actionable roadmap with measurable business outcomes and scalable technical enablement. 2. Build the Agentic AI and Engineering Capability Lead the design and implementation of foundational agentic AI capabilities and enterprise AI enablement layers for Personal Health. Build and scale a world-class AI organization including AI engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, AI architects, and platform teams. Drive modern AI engineering practices including MLOps, LLMOps, model governance, AI observability, and scalable deployment patterns. Partner closely with BUs, Regions, Enterprise IT and Data & Analytics organizations to ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable AI solutions. Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and ecosystem partnerships to continuously evolve Philips’ AI capabilities. 3. Accelerate AI Integration Across the Business Build and lead a cross-functional AI community, connecting product, commercial, and digital teams globally. Partner with key stakeholders to deploy AI in product innovation, marketing, supply chain, commercial excellence and people function. Enable regions and functions to scale best practices through shared AI platforms, tools, accelerators, and governance frameworks. Ensure AI capabilities are embedded into core business processes, products, and digital experiences. 4. Drive Responsible and Ethical AI Ensure all AI initiatives are trustworthy, compliant, secure, and human-centered. Lead adoption of Philips’ Responsible AI principles — ensuring transparency, safety, fairness, and explainability in every deployment. Establish governance mechanisms for enterprise AI risk management, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Act as a thought leader on responsible and scalable AI practices in consumer health. 5. Build AI Fluency and a Culture of Innovation Inspire and empower teams to adopt AI in daily decision-making and innovation. Launch capability-building programs that raise AI literacy and foster experimentation across both business and technical teams. Mentor technical and business leaders to create a strong AI talent pipeline within Personal Health. Establish an active AI community within Personal Health to share insights, tools, platforms, and success stories. 6. Measure and Scale Impact Define KPIs to track AI maturity, platform adoption, technical scalability, and business value realization. Report progress and insights to senior leadership, using data-driven storytelling to guide investment and growth decisions. Continuously refine the transformation roadmap as new technologies, capabilities, and opportunities emerge. What You Bring 12+ years of experience in AI, enterprise technology, digital transformation, or innovation leadership within HealthTech, FMCG, Consumer, or technology-driven industries. Proven track record leading large-scale AI transformations and building enterprise AI capabilities at scale. Strong technical understanding of modern AI ecosystems including generative AI, agentic AI frameworks, machine learning platforms, cloud-native architectures, MLOps/LLMOps, data engineering, and enterprise integration patterns. Experience building and leading multidisciplinary technical teams including AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and platform organizations. Demonstrated ability to bridge business strategy with technical execution and platform delivery. Experience defining enterprise AI architectures, reusable AI services, and scalable AI governance models. Strong understanding of AI technologies, data ecosystems, and business integration models. Experience in developing responsible AI frameworks and operating within regulated environments. Exceptional stakeholder management, strategic communication, and change leadership skills. A visionary mindset with the ability to turn complexity into clarity and inspire others to act. Global perspective and comfort operating in a matrixed organization. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
