Position Summary Develops, facilitates, and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations that support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid or Medicare population and the community.

Develops and maintains relationships with community contacts. Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state's laws and regulations. What you will do Develops and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations to increase awareness of health plan presence in the community.

Ensures required documentation is in place for membership, leader-driven activities and events. Manages on-site event staffing and handles any problems or emergencies that may arise, serving as primary contact for sponsors and event providers.

Coordinates event logistics including reserving space, catering, communications, distributing materials, facilities support, and setup/breakdown for the event. Creates and maintains a community events calendar to assist the department with the community and member awareness.

Seeks out and secures event sponsorship by building and maintaining relationships with community contacts. Prepares formal presentations for potential sponsors and members. Conducts new member orientations and leads engagement events and activities.

Must obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment. Required Qualifications Must reside in Metro Detroit area 2+ years customer service work experience Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.

Able to present information to various audiences. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and off-shifts as required. Must possess reliable transportation and have the ability to travel a lone up to 50% of the time in assigned region. (Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.) Must obtain Health and Life insurance license within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience with community outreach & development, community education, or event planning. 2+ years customer service work experience. Previous experience working with the Medicaid and Medicare population preferred.

Proven interpersonal and negotiating skills. Ability to work independently. Health and Life insurance license. Bachelor's degree preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $21.10 - $40.90 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
