We are looking for dynamic, organized, self-starters to join our Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team in the Launch Sr. Specialist role. The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team is a skilled, customer obsessed, business partner hiring across multiple locations for entry-level warehouse and fulfillment associate roles. We are looking for exceptionally talented, bright and driven people to help build the future Amazon talent pipeline. More specifically, the WFS Launch Team, is a centralized team that supports site launches within Amazon across all lines of business for North America. WFS Launch Specialists are focused on the day-to-day execution of new site launches and projects spanning WFS scope that allow WFS to continuously improve the hiring process. The WFS Launch Sr. Specialist owns the process for new site openings across multiple lines of business and must work well in an ambiguous environment and with a wide stakeholder group. - continuously improve standard work and launch processes that are consistently evolving and changing. The ability to navigate amongst multiple priorities and stakeholders and the ability to pivot quickly to business demands is critical to success in this role. This role will play a primary role in identify opportunities for standard work and innovation by owning projects from start to finish. This role will also require you to establish foundational knowledge of operational processes and associate experiences within all business lines. Key job responsibilities
- Lead projects, of increasing scale and complexity, and manage programs through completion
- Work directly with local and launch partners across WFS, HR, Ops, and other key stakeholder groups
- Advocate for candidates, the business, and stakeholders
- Oversee the execution of the hiring process, track progress of key milestones, and ensure all pertinent tasks for a launch are completed within a fixed timeframe
- Establish foundational knowledge of operational processes and associate experiences across business-lines
- Enhance present day WFS outputs, focusing on efficiency and standardization relating to launch planning, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Build and create proactive processes and reporting techniques from the ground up and maintain and enhance launch material
- Independently coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities across a diverse set of stakeholders
- Establish a working foundation with business stakeholders and communicate on status of hiring and potential risks and/or barriers
- Work to mitigate and eliminate barriers and dive deep into new skills that lead to further innovation and overall progression of the team and its processes
- Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Amazon Workforce Staffing
- Domestic travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications - Knowledge of human resource theory, functions and practice, performance appraisal systems and staff development
- Can travel and relocate as appropriate - Bachelor's degree
