The TTS Sanctions Operations function supports sanctions processes globally across Citi’s TTS business.

In this role, you are expected to: Sanction Screening HUB is a specialized unit providing sanction control services. List of types of services and the scope of countries have been expanding. Ultimately, the team will provide services for most countries in APAC & cross supporting EMEA & NAM region.
CSIPL Sanction Utility Hub place special emphasis on providing the highest quality services combined with timely performance, while ensuring that operational activities are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Global Sanctions Policy.

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 2 is an role responsible for analyzing cases relating to Compliance / Sanctions / AML issues and requires analytical skills and decision making in accordance with Citi internal policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
Responsibilities
- Perform Sanctions Cancel Reject Block process execution in line with Policies and Procedures.
- Timely and correctly execute SRM reporting.
- Oversight on the Annual Block Property Reporting Ensure alert execution are processed efficiently within SLA and KRI, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, functional & technical experience.
- Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients.
- Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed.
- Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
- escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Generate ideas leading to efficiencies, risk mitigation, standardization in Sanctions process.
- Participate in UAT, implementation and training.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and expertise in the sanctions regulatory environment.
- Ensure adherences to all global policies.
- Flexible for 24X7 & weekends shifts.
- Requirements / Qualifications: Previous relevant experience (equal to OR more than 6 years) preferred.
- Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations.
- Effective verbal and written skills.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proactive, Quick Learner & Adaptability Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Domain related certification(s), if available.
