Become a part of our caring community The Financial Analytics Lead manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Financial Analytics Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Risk Adjustment Financial Analytics Lead collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends. May possess financial or actuarial background. Delivers insights that answer questions from leadership, informs decision-making and supports strategic planning initiatives .
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 6+ years finance, analytics, and/or healthcare Experience in integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., MMR, MOR, claims), discovering new insights to support and influence decisions on strategic planning and specific business performance issues Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends Work independently and able to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties Preferred Qualifications Experience working with medical claims or other healthcare data Medicare risk adjustment experience Financial or actuarial background Additional Information If local to the Louisville area, team meets in office one day a week, typically Wednesdays.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $106,900 - $147,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
