- Roles & Responsibilities : S4 FI & GL Expert: Functional expert for General Ledger accounting in SAP S/4HANA Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing
- user acceptance testing (UAT). Data analysis: Validate G/L configuration related to ledgers, document splitting, financial statement structures
- account determination. Analyze GL Settings , Open item management settings and other GL master data settings in R3 to cleanse & synchronize with S4 landscape Compliance: Ensure compliance with ledger-based accounting (IFRS and Local GAAP). Ensure accurate migration of balances per R3 into S4 with breakdown by GL, HFM position, PCTR, Business place etc.Map and create FSV structure for Indian reporting requirements Process development: Document all process activities and support benchmarking to ensure process standardization. Collaborate & development of Power BI dashboards for better transparency and tracking, partner with global teams for standardization, explore potential for automation and process changes. Training: Conduct end user training, revise existing DTP's from r3 to S4 and set up training material to impart know-how to B2P organization on S4 accounting &reporting topics.
- Educational qualification: Cost & management accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (or) Chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (or)MBA finance (not correspondence) or Accounting and financial management certifications (equivalent to CA / CMA) Experience : Min 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field Must have experience in cross-functional processes and a matrix organization Mandatory/requires Skills : Understanding of financial close processes, provisions, accruals
- financial reporting, Knowledge of parallel accounting, ledgers, document splitting
- universal journal concepts in SAP systems, Proficient knowledge of SAP FI - General Ledger Accounting. Proficient communication skills Proficient analytical, problem solving and time management skills Preferred Skills :
