Cigna, a leading Health Services company, is looking for an exceptional Back end and API engineer in our Provider Engineering organization. This position is responsible for the delivery of a business need starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production.

This role requires you to be fluent in some of the critical technologies with proficiency in others, with a very strong analytical aptitude and have a hunger to learn on the job, understand data and add value to the business. Critical attributes of being a Back End Engineer, among others, is ownership, eagerness to learn & an open mindset.

Software Engineering Lead Analyst Position Overview Contribute to our platform engineering work across mobile, Nx, shared components, and AI initiatives. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an intermediate developer. Responsibilities: · Build and maintain features on React / Angular / React Native mobile platform foundations. · Help maintain Nx workspace and CI/CD pipeline workflows with DevOps guidance. · Build and maintain shared UI components in partnership with design system teams. · Contribute to AI/GenAI initiatives and engineering productivity improvements. · Support sprint execution, issue triage, and technical documentation. · Implement platform and product features using React / Angular / React Native and TypeScript. · Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews. · Troubleshoot build/test issues and improve day-to-day developer workflows. · Follow established standards for quality, testing, and maintainability. · Collaborate with DevOps and design system teams to deliver shared capabilities. · Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and regular status updates. · Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Location & Hours of Work Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
